Stichting Dooy was founded in 2014 by a group of energetic young people who were strongly motivated to stand up for the socially disadvantaged and vulnerable communities in Central Somalia and other regions of Somalia. Our focus lies on various areas such as: education, drought, poverty, democratization, and the continuing illiteracy.
Stichting Dooy is a development organization, not oriented towards the government or profit. It is an organization that works on social development for vulnerable and underdeveloped people. It is a people-oriented non-governmental organization. Dooy is an implementing organization that develops and executes various projects with technical and financial support from the government and international donors.
